An Alabama native, Attorney Bone graduated from Tuskegee University’s School of Nursing and continued her graduate studies at the University of Mississippi, eventually graduating with a masters in nursing midwifery. She then served in the United States Air Force on active duty in the Nurse Corps. After leaving the Air Force, she worked for several years for the State of Mississippi in public health in and around the Jackson and Vicksburg, Mississippi area. She returned to Alabama and joined Cooper Green Hospital in Jefferson County as the Head Nurse of the Labor and Delivery Department and Maternal Infant Nursing Supervisor, and Assistant Director of Nursing before becoming an attorney. She has been working as an attorney since 2002.
